Adore Your Curls was born in 2017, when our Founder and CEO, Monet Denson, took a bold step in her hair journey—bleaching her hair. But like many of us, she quickly realized the damage it caused and found herself needing to take matters into her own hands.
Despite regular salon visits every two weeks, breakage continued. That’s when Monet dove deep into the world of natural hair care. She began watching tutorials, researching hair textures, and learning everything she could about nurturing and protecting her curls. This marked the beginning of her transition to natural hair.
As her hair began to thrive, people took notice and asked about her routine. Monet openly shared the products she loved and the techniques that helped restore her hair. This sparked a bigger vision—to create a curl care kit with the essentials that helped her, designed specifically for African-American women navigating similar hair challenges.
From there, Monet took things a step further. She began developing her own formulas—carefully crafted with intention, experience, and a deep understanding of natural hair. Her goal? To offer products that truly support and celebrate the beauty of our curls from root to tip.
